Stephen McMennamy is a photographer that combines two real life items together that make sense.
I like his artwork because it takes a very creative point of view and takes a lot of time. By combining these two images in a way that makes it look like they are actually the same image, it is a good example of homage to McMennamy's work, it is the same reason I believe this picture is so successful.

If I were to travel anywhere it would be somewhere with a desert climate. I would photo native animals such as the Speckled Dragon. Most Sand abiding lizards are on the endangered list because of decreased rainfall in desserts over the years. I want people to know that these animals survive off of air moisture. The longer the desert goes without water the less moisture there is for lizards to absorb.
Crouser is a very spiritual photographer, he prefers to capture the feeling less than the moment itself. Schlesinger takes the spiritual thing further than any other photographer I have ever witnessed, she believes that nothing is independent of another.
Both Crouser and Schlesinger focus on the spiritual side of their photos. Crousers photos were mostly colored in his photos. Schlesinger most, if not all of her photos in black and white. I like Schlesinger the most, her style is very interesting. The black and white makes me feel like I can relate better on a spiritual scale with the photos. She had a higher variety than Crouser, she wasn't restricted by any project topics or subject types. Elgin Park is a subject and scene created by Michael Smith, he used small models to create realistic scene. Maggie Taylor is an image creator, using older pictures as subjects and digitally enhancing and adding things to it. Both of the photographers used artificial means of creating photos and they also both used props to enhance their work. They are different because one enhanced their images digitally and the other did it using models. I liked Elgin Park the best. Smith's expertise in modeling makes his buildings look realistic while still holding the unique quality. He was very resourceful and really pushed his photos to bring up familiar memories.
Charlie Todd uses the fact that his projects are spontaneous and fun to draw people into volunteering for it.
I like how he managed to get away with all these things without any trouble, and how many things he's done. Something that included a lot of people, most likely something that would be easy for everyone of any age or shape. -Who was Vivian Maier?
Vivian Maier was an introvertive nanny, that was very good at street photography, who may or may not have had a mental illness or had PTSD after some traumatic event early in her life. -What are three specific things from the documentary that you found interesting? I found it interesting that Vivian was abusive when she was frustrated, she never asked permission to take her photos, and that she never had any of her photos developed. -Why was Vivian Maier considered a street photographer? She took pictures of people while they were going about their business, while they were on the street, in big towns. -What is one question you still have about the documentary? 3-Three facts about the photographer
Her photos are included in many museums. Entered the photography hobby later in life. Expresses symbolism in her photos on a number of occasions. 2-Two reasons you are interested in their work They include various events that wouldn't normally be captured. She captured law enforcement areas such as police and fire services. 1-One idea you could use for your street photography project I would like to use the idea of capturing random events such as fires or arrests. I used the same technique in the video, but I skipped one of the steps.
Skipping the step, it was so effortless I don't even remember what it was. The most difficult step in the process was figuring out how to put the words in front of the main picture. Shadows can be applied as a main subject or with another depending on which makes it stronger.
Shadows of lines and patterns are more appealing to the eye, I don't know why, it just is. Light can be manipulated to make photos look better. After Before
I used the Glamour Glow filter. I believe it strengthens the photo by bringing out the black ad white of my cat. Someone may add a filter to a photo to make the photo look better or to make it look funny. |
